NEET
(National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)
- It is an exam to get admission in India’s top colleges for M.B.B.S.
- If you aim to become a Doctor, then NEET is for you.
ELIGIBILITY
- The student should have Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology background in 11th and 12th grade.
- Minimum age: Candidates must have completed 17 years as of 31 December of the year of his/her admission.
- Maximum age limit: There is no upper age limit for the exam.
- Attempt limit: There are no specific Limits on the number of attempts For general, OBC, or SC/ST Candidates
- Citizens: Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and foreign nationals are eligible to appear in the exam.
- Students appearing in 12th Class exam are also eligible to attempt NEET.
- Students (GENERAL or OBC Candidates) who passed 12th Class need minimum 50% marks in 12th (CBSE or State Board) to appear in NEET.
- Students (SC or ST Candidates) who passed 12th Class need minimum 40% marks in 12th (CBSE or State Board) to appear in NEET.
SYLLABUS (in brief)
Physics:
Class 11th and 12th based topics such as : General Physics (Motion in one & two dimension), Mechanics (NLM, Friction, work power & energy, gravitation, SHM, Rotational Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics), Thermal Physics, Acoustics, Electrostatics, Electricity & Magnetism, EMW, Optics and Modern Phy etc.
Chemistry :
Class 11th and 12th based topics such as : Basic Concepts, Atomic Structure, States of Matter, Chemical Bonding, Thermo. Chem., Organic (GOC, Hydrocarbon, Halide, Alcohol, Aldehyde & Ketone, Acid & its derivatives, Benzene, Amines etc.) & Inorganic Chemistry (Periodic Table. s, p, d & f block elements, Organometalic compounds) etc.
Botany :
Whole Botany of Class 11th and 12th such as : Microbes in Human Welfare, Ecosystem, Anatomy of Flowering Plants, Reproduction in Organisms, Respiration in Plants etc.
Zoology :
Animal kingdom, Biomolecules, Locomotion and Movement, Human Reproduction, Human Health and Disease etc.
